What is BarCross Restoration?
BarCross Restoration is a home based antique restoration project. We collect antiques in need of repair, cleaning, and restoration. After restoration, the items are placed on this website for your viewing pleasure. If you see an item you would love to have that does not have a link to eBay, you may contact us for pricing information.
Why does BarCross Restoration restore antiques?
We at BarCross have a deep love and appreciation for antiques, particularly the remarkable craftsmanship of gold and silver jewelry of decades past. Our free time is spent at antique stores admiring the art and craft of history. When we see items in need of a little TLC, we bring them home to restore them to their former beauty.
What kinds of items are restored?
Almost all of the items restored by BarCross Restoration are .999 Fine Silver, .925 Sterling Silver, or 8KT-24KT Gold. A few items may be Plated with Gold or Silver. or of a different alloy altogether. All items will be marked as exactly the alloy it contains and the gemstones named if at all possible.
